YOUNG EUREGIO PIANO AWARD - 2026

The 13th Young Euregio Piano Award 2026 is organized by the Konzertdirektion Koltun gUG and will take place in Geilenkirchen, Germany from 24th - 26th July 2026 in the Städt. Realschule Geilenkirchen (Gillesweg 1, 52511 Geilenkirchen).

The Competition is open to musicians aged until 17 years of any nationality regularly enrolled and is divided in 3 Rounds. In case of differences of interpretation of the competition Regulations, the German text will be held as definitive.

The Young Euregio Piano Award is divided into 2 age categories:

- Category A (up to 13 years)

- Category B (from 14 to 17 years)

Applicants are only allowed to take part in one age category.

The whole repertoire must be played by memory.

Participants are not allowed to repeat any of the pieces that they already played in 1st Round for the 2nd round. 

Pieces from the Video Pre-Selcetion Round can be repeated in the 1st Round or 2nd Round.

The Pre-Selection Round will be held in May. The Application Deadline is 20th May 2026. Results for the Pre-Selection Round will be published on 5th June 2026.

The Jury can decide to not award or to share prizes. The decisions of the jury are final, in case of differences of interpretation of the competition Regulations, the German text will be held as definitive.
