EUREGIO PIANO AWARD 2026

The 14th international piano competition EUREGIO PIANO AWARD will take place in Geilenkirchen, Germany from 27th July - 2nd August 2026 in the Städt. Realschule Geilenkirchen (Gillesweg 1, 52511 Geilenkirchen). The Competition is open to musicians aged 18 to 32 years of any nationality regularly enrolled and is divided in 4 rounds.

 

The Pre-Selection Round will be held in May. The Application Deadline is 20th May 2026. Results for the Pre-Selection Round will be published on 5th June 2026.

 

The 1st Round, Semifinal and Final round with Orchestra will be held in a Live-Competition in Geilenkirchen / Germany.

 

1st Prize: 6000 €

2nd Prize: 2000 €
3rd Prize: 1000 €

 - 27th July - 2nd August 2026 - 1st Round, Semi Final & Final with Orchestra Live-Competition in Geilenkirchen, Germany

The concert hall „Aula Realschule“ is in the center of Geilenkirchen (Gillesweg 1, 52511 Geilenkirchen). There is parking available at the competition venue. Contestants are kindly advised to make travel arrangements individually.

MUSIC UNITED!

The 13th Young Euregio Piano Award 2026 is organized by the Konzertdirektion Koltun gUG and will take place in Geilenkirchen, Germany from 24th - 26th July 2026 in the Städt. Realschule Geilenkirchen (Gillesweg 1, 52511 Geilenkirchen). The Competition is open to musicians aged until 17 years of any nationality regularly enrolled and is divided in 3 Rounds. 

 

The Pre-Selection Round will be held in May. The Application Deadline is 20th May 2026. Results for the Pre-Selection Round will be published on 5th June 2026.

 

The 1st Round and Final will be held in a Live-Competition in Geilenkirchen / Germany.
