UPDATE - RESULTS 1st Round

 

After intensive but above all interesting work, we are very happy to announce the results of the 1st round. A big thank you goes to the international jury, which is very grateful to the many participants to be able to evaluate wonderful and above all high-quality performances. Therefore, every participant is already a winner, even if he unfortunately did not make it to the finals this time. Thank you for the musical moments in difficult times, which shows us that classical music, despite Corona lives on all over the world.

YOUNG EUREGIO PIANO AWARD Online Edition 2021

Due to Corona, the international music world is in lockdown. Unfortunately, international competitions also have to be postponed or cancelled. Despite the difficult circumstances, the long tradition of the EUREGIO PIANO AWARD international piano competition does not want to stop promoting young talent and is therefore organising an online piano competition.

We are very excited about this year's international online piano competition "YOUNG EUREGIO PIANO AWARD" - Online Edition 2021. The competition with 4 different age categories will take place in January & February 2021. Participants from all over the world are welcome!

YOUNG EUREGIO PIANO AWARD - Interview with Mr. Thomas Giessing (Kreissparkasse Heinsberg)

EUREGIO PIANO AWARD 2020

The 8th international piano competition EUREGIO PIANO AWARD will take place in Geilenkirchen, Germany from 22th - 26th July 2020. The Competition is open to musicians aged 18 to 32 years of any nationality regularly enrolled and is divided in 3 rounds. The Final round with Orchestra and ceremony with the prizewinners will be held on 26th July. Read more about the EUREGIO PIANO AWARD 2020 here.

 

YOUTH EUREGIO PIANO AWARD 2020

Beside the EUREGIO PIANO AWARD 2020 there will be hold also the International Youth Piano Competition YOUTH EUREGIO PIANO AWARD 2020 between 22th - 26th July 2020 in Geilenkirchen, Germany. The Youth Piano Competition aims to promote musical culture by encouraging young people to study music while at the same time enhancing artistic talent. The Competition is open to musicians aged up to 29 years of any nationality regularly enrolled and will be hold in 3 diffrent categories. The prizewinner concert and ceremony of the YOUNG EUREGIO PIANO AWARD will be on 25th July. Read more about the EUREGIO PIANO AWARD 2020 here.

LOCATION
The concert hall „Aula Realschule“ is in the center of Geilenkirchen (Gillesweg 1, 52511 Geilenkirchen). There is parking available at the competition venue. Contestants are kindly advised to make travel arrangements individually.
