YOUNG EUREGIO PIANO AWARD

REPERTOIRE

Category A ( up to 13 years) Playing time: 8–10 min
The Competition for Category A will take place in one round. The Program is free.


Category B (from 14 to 17 years) Playing time: 10–15 min
The Competition for Category B will take place in one round. The Program is free.


Category C (from 18 to 28 years) Playing time: 15–20 min
The Competition for Category C will take place in one round. The Program is free.

 

General Conditions

 

  • The whole repertoire must be played by memory. Scores of scores of contemporary repertoire (2 copies) sould be given before each performance to the jury.
  • The jury can interrupt the performance if the max. time limit has reached.
  • Regarding the repertoire of free choice: Participants are allowed to play single movements of pieces.
  • The Jury can decide to not award or to share prizes.

SPECIAL PRIZES

Special Prize for best performance of one classical piece: 250 €

Special Prize for best performance of one contemporary piece: 250 €

Special Prize for best performance of one romanitc piece: 250 €

Special Prize for the best talent: 250 €

 

20 Concerts for Semi Finalists and Special Mention during the competition

 

The Semi-Finalists, whose didn't reach the final of the competition, will play one privat concert in the Region of Geilenkirchen. The Jury will also award a number of participants for a special mention Diplom, which also include one privat concert in the Region of Geilenkirchen. The concerts will be held on the 26th July. The pianists will be paid a fee for playing at these concerts, the amount of the fee will be decide by each private familiy. The concert will be divide at the evening on 25th July 2020 during the gala concert of the YOUNG EUREGIO PIANO AWARD 2020. These private concerts can be also shared by more participants.

 

Only pianists, who will be at the ceremony on 25th July 2020 will have the possibilty to get the privat concerts. If one participant, which was choosen to play one concert, is absent, the organisation of the EUREGIO PIANO AWARD will anounce participants by themself for the missing place.
